The last survey was conducted from November 9 to December 2, 2022 among 1,020 American adults. The statistical error is 4 percentage points.

“More Americans cite government as a top issue, according to the latest Gallup poll, taken amid a rocky start to the 118th session of Congress,” the Public Opinion Institute says on its website. 21% of Americans voted for this option, while during the last poll this figure was only 15%.

According to the survey, the second most serious problem is the persistence of high prices and inflation. Such difficulties worry 15% of the respondents. In third place is immigration (this option scored 11%).

It is noteworthy that the level of dissatisfaction with the work of the government is higher among those who give their preference to the Republican Party.
