On the 28th, an indigenous man identified as Valdemar Marciano Guajajara was found dead in the city of Amarante do Maranhão (MA). According to Cimi, the body of José Inácio Guajajara was found with marks of violence, but according to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Imperatriz (MA), the death resulted from natural causes.
