Almost 800 refugees from Ukraine officially found jobs in Moldova

CHISINAU, September 4 – RIA Novosti. In Moldova, 740 refugees from Ukraine were officially employed, according to the official website of the National Employment Agency (NAEP).
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova reported that almost 463 thousand refugees from Ukraine entered the country since the beginning of the Russian special operation, 73,211 still remain in the republic, 7,946 of them requested asylum.
“The National Employment Agency regularly receives job search applications from Ukrainians. At the moment, 746 Ukrainian citizens who fled the war are working in Moldova. We are talking about 573 women and 173 men,” the NEA said.
The agency clarifies that the Ukrainians who arrived in Moldova fill the vacancies of programmers, engineers, salespeople, cooks, teachers, doctors, managers, tailors and others.

According to official data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, more than 500 thousand refugees from Ukraine entered the country since the beginning of the Russian special operation, 76 thousand still remain in the republic, 8562 of them requested asylum.
Earlier, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Moldova, Marcel Spatar, said that the refugee support program is funded by the European Union, Western funds and organizations, including the UN Refugee Agency. According to the official, money is not spent from the budget of the republic.
