Eddie, a pit bull dog who used to live on the streets, was rescued by volunteers but was eventually diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. The responsible veterinarians gave him a life expectancy of less than a year.
The dog was taken in by the NGO Mikey’s Chance Canine Rescue, however, after the diagnosis, Eddie went on to live with a family, in a loving home, where he will spend his last days. The population of the city where the animal lives, Pasco, Washington, in the United States, was also touched by its history and came together to carry out some activities to please the dog.
First, with the support of the Police Department, Eddie was a K9 officer for a day. The dog was given a police uniform, took the oath, and rode in a police car around town. After that, the dog enjoyed a Starbucks Puppuccino, a special drink for puppies. He even enjoyed a bathtub filled with his favorite toys.
Your to-do list follows with other activities, like jumping on a trampoline, visiting your favorite TV station, and having beer with your tutor. After a very difficult life, Eddie can now enjoy his last moments surrounded by lots of affection, love and attention.
