Russia has no confidence in international investigators, foreign ministry says

MOSCOW, April 26 – RIA Novosti. Russia does not trust international investigators, Petr Ilyichev, director of the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told reporters about the idea of conducting an international investigation of war crimes in Ukraine.
“We do not have confidence in these investigators. They have already shown several times that they cannot be impartial. You see how the investigation into the MH17 tragedy is going, when all our evidence is simply not taken into account,” Ilyichev said, answering a question whether the Russian Federation will support the start of an international investigation.
