MOSCOW, April 19 – RIA Novosti. Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko met in Moscow with Iranian Vice President Soren Sattari, the parties discussed cooperation in the production and supply of medicines and medical devices, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health reported.
“The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation met with Iranian Vice President Soren Sattari in Moscow. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the production and supply of medicines and medical devices,” the report says.

Russia does not depend on foreign tests for COVID-19, Murashko said

The parties agreed to organize mutual visits of Russian and Iranian experts in the near future to get acquainted with the production and rules for conducting clinical trials and registration of medicines for medical use in the two countries, the press service noted.
“The volume of mutual trade in medical products between our countries is growing and already amounts to billions of rubles… A number of memorandums have already been signed, including on cooperation in the field of innovative developments, the Gamaleya Center and the Iranian Pasteur Institute are cooperating. And we are ready to develop our relations” – said Murashko, whose words are given in the message.
