Ukrainian troops fired 32 shells at Yelenovka and Donetsk

DONETSK, April 16 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian troops shelled Yelenovka and Donetsk in ten minutes, firing 32 shells with a caliber of 122 mm, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) reported.
It is noted that the Ukrainian military shelled two districts of Donetsk – Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky. Ten shells were fired at the first district, 12 at the second. At the same time, the Ukrainian military fired ten shells at the settlement of Yelenovka. All shells caliber 122 mm.
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” For this, according to him, it is planned to carry out “demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.” According to the Russian Defense Ministry, as of March 25, the Armed Forces completed the main tasks of the first stage – they significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine.
