Japan imposes additional sanctions against Russia

TOKYO, April 12 – RIA Novosti. Japan is imposing additional sanctions against 398 individuals and 28 organizations from Russia in light of the events in Ukraine, according to a press release from the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
Among the individuals whose assets will be frozen are members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, including Valery Rashkin, Vasily Piskarev, Pyotr Tolstoy, Leonid Slutsky, Irina Yarovaya and others. Among the military personnel under sanctions were Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Nikolai Evmenov, First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Vladimir Kasatonov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces Oleg Salyukov and others.
Among the organizations on the sanctions list are JSC NPK Tekhmash, the Ryazan Design Bureau Globus, the Arzamas Research and Production Enterprise Temp-Avia, the Vympel State Machine-Building Design Bureau named after Toropov, and others.
