MOSCOW, April 5 – RIA Novosti. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the prospects for negotiations with Ukraine on peace and Kyiv’s tactics, said that Moscow would not “play cat and mouse.”
“We are alarmed that the Ukrainian side has decided to demand that if a (peace – ed.) agreement is concluded, all hostilities should be stopped within a few days, the Russian armed forces will leave Ukraine, and after that there will be a referendum, ratification in parliament. And there is there is a very high probability that when this ratification and referendum gives a negative result, the negotiation process will have to start anew,” Lavrov told reporters.

Lavrov called the condition for the meeting between Putin and Zelensky

“We don’t want to play such cat and mouse,” Lavrov stressed.
