Blinken: Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon have ten anti-tank systems for each tank

WASHINGTON, April 3 – RIA Novosti. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken promised that, thanks to Western assistance, Ukrainian forces would soon have ten anti-tank systems for every Russian tank.
“For every Russian tank in Ukraine, there are or will soon be more than ten anti-tank systems,” he said in an interview with CNN.

Blinken did not answer the question about security guarantees for Ukraine

Blinken declined to answer the question of whether the Western allies plan to supply the Ukrainian military with Soviet-made tanks.
He recalled that over the past month alone, the volume of military assistance to Ukraine amounted to $1.6 billion.
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” For this, according to him, it is planned to carry out “demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.” According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces strike only at military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, and as of March 25, they have completed the main tasks of the first stage – they have significantly reduced the combat potential of Ukraine. The main goal in the Russian military department was called the liberation of Donbass.
