With guaranteed qualification for the 2022 World Cup (Qatar), Brazil already knows where it will train and stay during its participation in the competition, which will take place between November 21 and December 18.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) reported this Thursday (10) that the Brazilian team will use the facilities at the Grand Hamad stadium to carry out their training sessions and at the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa to host the team.

“Our first visit to Qatar was in August 2019, with Luis Vagner [gerente] and Hamilton Correa [administrador]. Since then, we have been evaluating the options to find the one that best meets our demand. We have carried out three more on-site inspections over the past few years. This proactivity and planning were fundamental. Now that everything is confirmed and we have been able to officially announce our home, we are confident that our facilities will be up to the standards of the Brazilian team”, declared the coordinator of the Brazilian team, former player Juninho Paulista.

The Grand Hamad Stadium is the home of Al Arabi. It will be in these facilities that the Brazilian team will train. According to the CBF, the place has a lawn and dressing rooms of an international level, in addition to stands and facilities prepared to receive the world‘s press. “The space will also be complemented with a state-of-the-art gym, a room for press conferences, a media center and also a living space for the players called up to receive their families”, says the entity.
