Covid-19: Brazil records 15,500 cases and 26 deaths in 24 hours

Balance released last night (4) by the Ministry of Health (MS) shows that 26 people died due to covid-19 in just 24 hours, totaling 666,997 deaths as a result of the disease. The number of confirmed cases increased by 15,590 to 31,153,069.

There are also 422,496 cases being followed up and another 3,280 under investigation. According to MS, 30,063,576 people have already recovered from the disease.

São Paulo remains the state with the highest number of cases (5,527,726) and deaths (169,415), followed by Minas Gerais (3,435,501 cases and 61,579 deaths).

Regarding the number of deaths, Rio de Janeiro occupies the second position in this ranking, with 73,830 deaths due to the disease, among the 2,208,212 cases already registered.
